Joey’s Gifts does not sell, rent, or share its email addresses or other personal contact information with outside parties. Joey’s Gifts uses its best efforts to respect the privacy of every donor and Scholarship candidate.
On our website, we do not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. This means we do not require you to register or provide information to us to view our site.
Joey’s Gifts gathers personally identifiable data—such as names, postal addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, credit cards, bank information, and billing information voluntarily submitted by the individual. This information is used by Joey’s Gifts for internal purposes. Joey’s Gifts lists are never sold to third parties. We will only share personally identifiable information with third parties when:
•    The person submitting the information authorizes us to share it.
•    Sharing the information is a necessary operation of the site, for instance, to process a credit card transaction; or
•    We are required to by law.
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy without notice.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We have developed this Privacy Policy to describe to you our practices regarding the information we collect from users of our programs when you visit our websites you give us information or send us communications.
We have taken care to collect, store, and use your personal data fairly and lawfully and with due respect to the individual whose personal data is being processed.

We may collect your personal information when you visit our websites, when you choose to use the various programs we provide, donate, or when you provide information voluntarily. These include signing up for or requesting information regarding new events or, participating in our blog, participating in events, and/or responding to surveys, questionnaires, or offers.

Information provided by you may be used and disclosed by us our affiliates, and business partners for the following purposes:
(a) to provide you with the programs and services you have requested and to communicate with you about those programs and services.
(b) to respond to your requests and queries.
(c) to verify and process your personal particulars and payments.

(e) to inform you (with your consent) about any programs or services which may be of interest to you.

Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.  

 

Opting Out of Emails
If you choose to opt out of emails, we will only use your email to gather information that we need concerning our volunteer program, referring a friend, or Scholarship Program. All other emails, not pertaining to information gathering, will be removed by your request. 

 
Personal Information And Credit Card Security
Joey’s Gifts cares about the safety and security of your transaction, and we take every precaution to protect your information.
Donations made on our website are secure as thoroughly as possible Companies we work with to process credit card transactions also use high-grade encryption and security protocols.
All the transactional data we collect from users is protected against unauthorized access with the use of digital certificates. The site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.  

 

Online Data Security

All response forms requesting confidential information (such as credit card numbers) on Joey’s Gifts website utilize the Internet security protocol known as “Secure Sockets Layer” or “SSL.” This is a certification and encryption technology designed to make using your credit card as safe as possible on the Internet.
The SSL technology depends on secure Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) which are certified by a certifying authority. When you access our Service, we may automatically collect non-personally identifiable information from you, such as IP host address, web pages viewed, browser type, operating system, referring service, search information, device type, page views, usage, and browsing habits on the Service, and similar data.
