JOEY'S GIFTS PARTNERSHIPS
Our Scholarship Partners
At Joey's Gifts, we believe every child should have the opportunity to pursue their passion for sports without cost being a barrier. That's why we offer scholarships to children who have the dedication and desire but may need some financial assistance to join an organized sports team. We partner with sports organizations to make a difference in children's lives and allow them to pursue their dreams.
PAL - POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE | BENSALEM, PA

PAL has been a non-profit organization for over 100 years, dedicated to fostering youth development through its numerous branches nationwide. They promote mutual respect and understanding while nurturing self-esteem, awareness, and confidence. The leaders at PAL work tirelessly to guide and teach children, creating a safe space where they can grow, thrive, and develop their skills. PAL’s purpose aligns perfectly with that of Joey's Gifts. We are honored and excited to collaborate with them and learn from their extensive experience.

The Northampton Indians Association
For the last three decades, the Northampton Indians Association has been committed to enriching our community by providing football and cheerleading programs for children aged 5 to 15. Our dedicated coaching staff focuses on teaching sports fundamentals and instilling values such as good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork while emphasizing injury prevention through exceptional conditioning and training techniques. Through our partnership with the Northampton Indians Association, we are thrilled to continue supporting families and children in need.
In December 2023, Joey's Gifts generously sponsored 30 enthusiastic Northampton Cheerleaders to compete in Nationals in Florida for the first time since the organization's conception. Their outstanding performances, correlated with excellent coaching, led them to secure first place. Subsequently, they qualified for Globals in Atlantic City a few weeks later, where they were honored as Global Champions for their challenging routines and exceptional dedication.

Bucks County Generals Baseball

In 2002, Dan Kusters and Steve Marlow founded Bucks County Baseball Academy. Both founders played locally in high school (Archbishop Wood and Council Rock) and were scholarship athletes in college (Villanova and Penn State). The academy teams, The Generals, were created to provide a better place to play competitive baseball. The Generals' culture strives to foster mentorship, developmental instruction, and guidance as baseball players and their families move from the little diamond, transition to the big diamond, prepare for high school, and reach the collegiate and professional levels. The coaches and players frequently discuss the value of character, integrity, respect for the game, teammates, coaches, parents, umpires, and the opposition, as well as self-discipline, grit, and resilience.
Introducing Our Safety Partners
At Joey's Gifts, we intend to keep Joey's spirit alive by honoring his memory. We do this through our programs and initiatives. We are committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families by promoting safety and awareness in our communities and beyond. One of our initiatives, Joey's Safety System, emphasizes the importance of having a buddy while participating in extracurricular activities. Not only does it enhance the fun, but it also ensures that children are safe.
We are also looking to partner with organizations that currently invest in programs to educate children on essential safety standards, empowering them to make safe choices for themselves and others. Ever since Joey's passing, we've made it our mission to prioritize children's safety. Our primary goal is to raise awareness about water safety and other critical concerns that pose a threat to our kids. Partnering with the YMCA on safety initiatives is just the first step! Let's work together to make a lasting impact on child safety. Your support is crucial in our efforts to protect more children. Thank you for standing with us in this important cause.
The YMCA - Joey's Gifts and The SAW Program
When the YMCA called us to ask if we wanted to partner with them for a safety program, it was an easy yes! While the YMCA offers various important programs for its members and surrounding communities, the YMCA and Joey's Gifts are partners in sponsoring the SAW Program - Safety Around Water.
The SAW - Safety Around Water program is for children ages 3-12 years to receive vital water safety skills to ensure, through continued evaluation, that they meet specific swimming goals at completion. This is a free program.
The SAW - Safety Around Water program has impacted 2,164+ children and their families since the inception of the program.
Total participants impacted in 2023: 750.
